How BOARDette works
BOARDette is an employee onboarding platform developed by Gotoclient. This page explains the BOARDette workflow, from loading the onboarding plan to grading the final knowledge check.
How does BOARDette work?
BOARDette works in four steps. An onboarding administrator loads the onboarding plan into BOARDette, invites a new employee by work email, the new employee works through the ordered stages, and each stage closes with a knowledge check that BOARDette scores and records.
How is onboarding content organised in BOARDette?
BOARDette organises content as stages and steps. A stage is a phase of the onboarding timeline; each stage contains steps with notes, links, documents and video resources. Steps are ordered, so a new employee always knows what comes next.
How does BOARDette track progress?
A person marks each step complete as they go. BOARDette stores that record against the person and shows a progress bar and roadmap, so both the employee and the onboarding administrator can see exactly how far the journey has advanced.
How do BOARDette knowledge checks work?
Each stage ends with a short exam. BOARDette scores multiple-choice answers automatically and routes written answers to the onboarding administrator for review. Results, scores and feedback stay attached to the participant's onboarding record.
What data does BOARDette use?
BOARDette uses the onboarding plan supplied by the organisation, together with each participant's account, completed steps, exam answers and results. BOARDette does not use public or third-party personal data. See the privacy page for detail.
Is BOARDette a Gotoclient product?
